Persatuan Pekerja Prihatin & Pekerja Sosial Kristian Malaysia

One area of CARE's advocacy is to support Social Workers. In the wake of the Social Workers Bill, we gathered Christian Social workers together to inform, support and prepare them for the changes to the policy. This saw the birth of Persatuan Pekerja Prihatin dan Pekerja Sosial Kristian Malaysia, a national society registered with the Registrar of Societies.

PPPPSKM has committed itself to these objectives:
  1. To increase skills and professionalism in all aspects of social work.

  2. To network for capacity building, best practices, mentoring, mutual support and accountability.

  3. To facilitate training and collaborate with educational institutions in developing relevant social work and care-giving courses.

  4. To be an active advocate on code of ethics, laws and policies of social work.

  5. To partner professional bodies and government agencies to enhance professional competency in social work practice.
