Communications
WEEK 1 November 1-9, 2024

1.  Pray for an abundance of fresh and engaging ideas for short videos to inspire more people through social media for social concern.
   
   

2. Pray for our Tamil-speaking staff as we raise new speakers and reach out to engage with more Tamil churches.
   
   

3. Pray for God's blessings for all who support CARE financially and for more donors to commit to becoming regular donors through our upgraded donate page.
   
   

4. Pray that God will provide more opportunities for volunteers and interns to contribute to CARE's ministries.
   
   

5. Pray for wisdom and guidance as we explore the possibility of migrating to a brand-new website.

Prison Work (Clients, Volunteers, Prison, PC Klang)

WEEK 2 November 10-16, 2024

1.  Pray for the new prison officers who have taken over from those transferred out to be cooperative and helpful towards our volunteers and staff.
   
   

2. Pray for the approval of Programme Psikososial CARE, so that lives can be impacted through engagement in the programme. Pray also for the preparation for the restart of the programme.
   
   

3. Pray for Volunteer J, now continuing life without their partner who had recently passed away.
   
   

4. Pray for PKPA inmates to have open hearts to desire transformation and rehabilitation, and for protection and safety within the prison environment. Pray for those who are released that they may seek God's guidance as they reintegrate into society.
   
   

5. Pray for peace and justice in all prisons, fair and humane treatment of inmates, and for God's presence to bring hope and transformation within the prison walls.

PC Miri
WEEK 3 November 17-23, 2024

1. Pray for the success of 2024 projects and partnerships with the various communities in rural and urban Sarawak.
   
   

2. Pray for the teachers and students of the rural community school in Ulu Trusan to continue to be persistent and resilient despite the challenges they face.
   
   

3. Pray for the rural communities in Baram and Belaga to remain united as they work together to build their knowledge and work on their land to increase their income.
   
   

4.  Pray for the continuous partnership with local schools to build up the skills and knowledge of teachers in working with children with special needs.
   
   

5. Pray also for the staff vacancy available in PC Miri. Pray for God to raise people with the heart to serve the community in Miri who will answer the call.
   
   

Finance & Administration

WEEK 4 November 24-30, 2024

1. Pray for the staff handling project accounts and petty cash. May God grant them the knowledge and grace as they reconcile accounts and submit to the Finance department for year-end closing.
   
   

2. Pray for Melissa during her sabbatical in October and November, that she finds rest and renewal in the Lord. Lift up her and her family for a renewed passion and purpose as they work to advance His kingdom in their community and beyond.
   
   

3. May God grant Franky wisdom and guidance to handle payment-related tasks.
   
   

4.  Pray for good stewardship in managing funds for daily operations (utilities, premises and vehicle maintenance). Pray for staff to be cost-conscious and ensure efficient usage of office vehicles and equipment.
   
   

5. In the current economic situation, pray that God's people will continue to give generously towards ministry for the poor and needy.
