We invite you to pray for the ministry of Malaysian CARE and for the needs of the poor & needy in our communities.

Prayer Points for this Month (December 2022)

Policy, Advocacy & Research
WEEK 1 December  1 – 11, 2022

  1. Thank God for His wisdom and guidance upon the team as we end 2022 and march toward 2023.

  2. Pray for God's continued blessings on the YouTurn Project as we encourage the community to accept and support ex-prisoners reintegrating into society.

  3. Pray for the Monitoring & Evaluation incremental rollout into 2023, that we will see it being established in CARE in His time and will.

  4. Pray for the mental well-being of B40 parents as they grapple with multiple stressors in providing for their families daily as well as nurturing their children.  

  5. Pray for God's sustenance on HIV/AIDS caregivers as they journey with clients and families affected by HIV/AIDS.

Setapak Community & Youth
WEEK 2 December  12 - 18, 2022

  1. Praise God for Hari Komuniti which happened on 24 Sep 2022! Pray for more open doors to serve the community members, moving forward from this event.

  2. Pray that God will use Pusat Sumber Komuniti CARE mightily as a beacon of hope for the people in the community, to provide the help needed through the various services.

  3. Parents are leaving their children unattended at home or with caregivers as they work. Pray that these children are given proper care and guidance needed to mature and grow healthily.

  4. Pray for the Setapak community youth leaders whom we are currently mentoring, that they will grow in wisdom, stature and willingness to serve their communities and mentor the next generation.

  5. Pray for resettlement opportunities to be more available and accessible to needy refugees/asylum seekers. Pray that God grants them favour in Malaysia in the eyes of employers and law enforcers.

Child Empowerment (Special Needs, Children & Mobile Resource Library/Bumblebee)
WEEK 3 December 19 - 25, 2022

  1. Pray for good health and protection for job coaches, volunteers and young adults. Pray also for God’s favour and sustenance upon the parents of the young adults.

  2. Pray for joy, wisdom and good discernment upon the job coaches and volunteers in supporting the young adults through independent skills development training and in long-term job opportunities.

  3. Pray for the young adults and their families to see hope in God and experience life transformation that will glorify God.

  4. Praise God for Bumblebee’s recent 10th Anniversary! Pray that God will continue using Bumblebee as a channel of blessing and agent of change and transformation in the community.

  5. Pray that God will use the staff team to further empower existing partners and volunteers to engage with children from various communities proactively and sustainably in children’s work.

Prison Work  (Clients/Volunteers/Prison/PKPA/PC Klang)

WEEK 4 December 26 - 31, 2022

  1. Praise God for the new music room setup in PKPA. Pray for the juveniles to explore their potential in music and use it to the betterment of their future.   

  2. Pray for God to continue using Rumah Petros to minister to those released from prison and to journey with them through the love of Christ that transforms lives. 

  3. Pray for the current and potential clients of Rumah Kepercayaan, that their transformed life would result in positive change in society even as they reintegrate and resettle.   

  4. Pray for God to continuously bless our partners and volunteers with good health and for their sustained assistance and collaboration with the prison ministry staff team. 

  5. Pray for God's continued favor for church pastors, that they acknowledge CARE's presence and become more supportive through partnership in our Klang work.
