        Reporting To Assistant Director
        Department/Unit Communications Department
        Required Skills and Experience
        • To support and manage the organisation’s website to ensure accuracy and up to date content and publicity
        • Experience in coordinating newsletter publication and dissemination – working with editorial team on design and layout
        • The ability to develop, programme and maintain FileMaker Pro Master List Database 
        • Well versed in both verbal and written English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin effectively will be an added advantage
        • To work with the Communications team to organise media, promotion or fundraising materials/events
        • Excellent time management and planning skills to organise workload comprised of different tasks and responsibilities

        Educational Requirements

        The Coomunications Department encompasses a wide range of responsibilities to guide internal and external communications efforts of Malaysian CARE. Essentially, the Department works to promote CARE in the eyes of the public and its stakeholders. To this end, the Communications Department supports, develops and implements materials, projects and events that effectively communicates the mission and objectives of Malaysian CARE.

        Department/Unit Community Development – Pusat CARE Miri – PCM
        Required Skills and Experience
        • Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia
        • Possess a driving license and able to drive
        • Computer literate
        • Ability to engage to people from a wide range background and engage to target group.
        • Ability to carry out work to completion independently and a team player
        • Experience in community development in both urban and rural setting
        • Field work and willing to travel
        • Willing and able to stay in the villages
        Personal Criteria
        • Preferably male, but female can be considered
        • Indigenous
        • Christian
        • Minimum 2-3 years working experiences in social work or community work.
        • Possess driving licence and own transportation.
