Required Skills and Experience

Understanding issues related to substance abuse, prison, and mental health balanced with practical experience in counseling and knowledge of the community we serve.
-
Community needs assessment, ministry design, and services development process.
-
Readiness for long-term journeying with communities and families in addressing their plight and assisting them towards recovery/reintegration to society with a resilient and sustainable livelihood.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work in collaboration with multiple teams across the organization and prison authorities/officials.

Well-versed with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Possess organizational skills including documentation, analysis, and time management (eg. multitasking, deadlines, monitoring)

Experience in community work, and prison work is an added advantage.

Education Requirement

[Preferred but not limited to] Bachelor’s degree related to Management, Psychology, and Social Work.

Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Tamil and Mandarin is an added advantage.
