Director, Service Development
About the position
The candidate will assist the Director in ensuring that the department’s administrative, functional, and organizing matters are managed effectively. This includes a supporting role to the needs of the team in the department.
Required Skills and Experience
Well-versed with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Familiar with communication via email, apps, and social media.
Perform secretarial duties including the ability to coordinate schedules, meetings, reports, and events within the department and across other departments.
Possess good organizational skills in terms of time (eg. multitasking, deadlines, monitoring), mental (eg. communication, documentation, analysis), and physical (eg. Record-keeping, office management, office solutions).
Experience in community work is an added advantage.

Trustworthy, teachable, transparent, proactive, and a team player.
Relational skills – ability to relate to a diverse group of people including staff, management, Board, and other stakeholders (eg. Volunteers, clients, work partners and etc.).
Passion for community work – interest to learn beyond work.
Spiritual maturity - personal walk with God, the reading of His Word, and fellowship with His people, the Church.
Minimum SPM or equivalent qualification (eg. IGCSE O-Level).
Proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
